WhatsApp Users Not Happy With Need To Scan QR Code With Web Browser
There are more than one billion active users on WhatsApp with many of them accessing accounts through their computer. Until recently, users had to open a supported web browser such as Microsoft Edge, Opera, Firefox and Chrome and visit web.whatsapp.com.
Not much has changed. Developers have made a native application public for laptops and computers that people can download from the company’s official website. However, users need to still scan the QR code with their phones. The app offers the same features seen with the mobile version and it runs smoothly.
WhatsApp may soon offer a Video Calling feature; a feature that users have seen in the beta versions but not yet active. Developers have removed it off and on, meaning it’s still not ready for a release. They certainly want to avoid any of the mistakes that were seen with the Voice Calling feature, which lagged because an excessive amount of mobile data and calls were suddenly interrupted.
