“WhatsApp will be off From 11.30pm to 6:00 am daily -Declared by FB”
Don’t worry, this is the latest WhatsApp hoax circulating all over the contacts and groups. This hoax message showed up a day after WhatsApp suffered a global outage. It was down for more than three hours on Saturday just a few days after
Facebook bought it for $19 billion
There was a global outage of WhatsApp on 23rd February at around 23.48 GMT and spammers actively took advantage on it. However, WhatsApp founder Jan Koum on Sunday issued an apology and blamed a network router for Saturday’s outage of the mobile messaging app.
I would seriously like to know more about the so-called WhatsApp CEO Aarohi Deshmukh, Riya (director of WhatsApp), DAVID D. SURETECH founder of Whatsapp and many more such names flashing on my various Whatsapp groups. “Grin”.
WhatsApp is one of the most popular free messaging services presently being used worldwide and after the acquisition of FB, the spam users are even more actively sending such messages. Such spammers have made it a Hoax Slayer and one must stop forwarding such silly stories and messages.
For those who don’t know, founder and CEO of Whatsapp is named Jan Kaom and the company never had any executives with the named David D, Jim Balasmic, Aarohi, Riya etc.
What surprise me the most is that how can anyone believe on such messages and start forwarding them in various groups after groups? Such messages are so obviously fake and we must stop forwarding them to 10, 20 or 30 contacts. There are many more such latest WhatsApp hoax messages being circulated in various groups.

WhatsApp uses Wi-Fi network or mobile data network to send the messages containing audio files, videos, texts and pictures. There is no limit of characters in WhatsApp and thus you can save money in sending SMS or MMS if you have a regular internet connection on your Smartphone. The service is available for Android devices, iOS devices, Nokia handsets and Blackberry handsets.
It is one of the most commonly used free messaging service but such fake and bogus stories are actually irritating. The only way to stop such spam messages is to stop forwarding them in group after group.
