Who can use WhatsApp Web?
Unlike WhatsApp, its web version can only be used if you match certain criteria. Presently, WhatsApp Web is available only for Android, iPhone having operating system version 8.1 and above, Windows Phone having operating system version 8.0 and above, Nokia S60, Nokia S40 EVO, BlackBerry and BlackBerry 10 smartphones. Apart from this, you should have active WhatsApp account and internet connection. Also, the PC on which you wish to use it should have the latest version of the browser installed. If you meet all these requirements, then you are ready to use WhatsApp Web.

How to get started with WhatsApp Web
To get started with WhatsApp Web you just need to follow some basic steps:
- Type web.whatsapp.com on the browser of your PC, and hit enter.
- You will receive a window with QR code.
- Now open WhatsApp on your Android device and click on the option WhatsApp Web.
- Now scan the QR code on your computer at web.whatsapp.com.
- Once the code is scanned WhatsApp will automatically start on your computer.
Now you can chat with your friend, send them images, videos whatever you wish, same as you do with your mobile phones. You can also read the previous chats, download media data directly on your computer. We also suggest you turn on desktop notification while using WhatsApp Web. If the notification is enabled, you will automatically receive a prompt at the lower right corner of your computer screen whenever you receive any new message. Unlike WhatsApp application, you can anytime log out from the WhatsApp Web. However, you can log in anytime again by just scanning that QR code.

The only thing you have to make sure is that the internet connection should remain active on your mobile. Also, it is strongly recommended that your phone should be connected to a Wi-Fi network to avoid data charges.
