Look recover WhatsApp messages deleted , the only solution you have at your disposal is to reinstall the application and follow the standard procedure for restoring the last backup performed by the application.
As you probably already know, WhatsApp automatically creates backup copies of all the chat. He does it on a daily, weekly or monthly (depending on the preferences set) and using one of these backups, you can restore all of those conversations that you now seem lost forever. Of course bringing WhatsApp to a previous state will lose all messages sent or received after the date of the backup … but at this point I think the other messages have a higher priority, right? Then Let’s ban the chatter and we see at once how to restore all the chat you’ve deleted by mistake.
Recover deleted messages from WhatsApp Android
The Android version of WhatsApp saves backups of the chat is local , that is, on your smartphone’s memory, either online of Google Drive . The recovery process is the same in both cases, all you have to do is remove WhatsApp from your smartphone (by pressing and holding its icon and dragging it to the trash or going to the menu Settings> Apps> WhatsApp ), download it again from Play Store and follow the application’s initial configuration process.
After the verification of the number, the app will automatically detect the presence of a backup, and ask if you restore it. At that point, you will have to do is press the button Restore and all conversations will be reported to the state they were in the backup date (so the messages deleted by mistake will be automatically restored).
If you do not know when was the last backup automatically generated by WhatsApp, open the application on your phone, press it on button (…) which is located at the top right and select the Settings from the menu that appears. In the screen that opens, select the items Chat> chat Backup and controls the dates specified under Last backup . There should be either the date of the last backup is performed locally when the last backup saved online in Google Drive.
Now, if the last backup on the Google Drive is following the date in which you deleted the messages that now you want to restore, uninstall the app from the phone, reinstall it, and choose to restore the backup to Google Drive: All posts your interest will be restored automatically (except those received after the date of the backup). If the date of the last backup on Google Drive is next to the cancellation of the messages of your interest, you have to go to “Plan B”, ie the restoration of local backups.
Using locally saved backup, you can restore the application state even at an earlier date than that of the last automatic backup. All you need to do is enter the folder where WhatsApp stores its backup files, locate the one on the date that you intend to change the status of the conversations and rename it so that the application considers it as the most recent backup to restore.
To be more specific, you need to do is install a file manager like ES File and use it to enter the folder Home WhatsApp Databases
smartphone or sdcard WhatsApp Databases
if you use a microSD memory expansion: there you will find a series of files named msgstore- [data] .1.db.crypt12 where instead of [data] is the date on which the backup was created.
If you do not know how to get in the path that I have just shown you, presses on the icon to burger located at the top left in the initial ES File Manager screen, select the icon of home or SD card from the left sidebar and go first in the folder WhatsApp and then in Databases .
At this point, locate the backup file to use in WhatsApp and rename msgstore.db.crypt12 . If a file with the same name already exists in the folder (the most recent backup should be created by the application), delete it or rename it in another way. To rename or delete a file with ES File Explorer just hold your finger on the icon and press the appropriate button that appears at the bottom.

operation is completed, you can proceed to the removal of WhatsApp from your smartphone. If after you have uninstalled the application from your handset displays a message ES File Explorer asking you if you want to delete the remaining files of WhatsApp Messenger from your smartphone, refuses, otherwise it will be also deleted the backup you need to recover.
Now, before you re-install WhatsApp and proceed to the restoration of the chat, remove the association between Google Drive and WhatsApp. In this way the application will search the backup directly on the mobile memory and will not attempt to restore the conversations from the cloud. To make this work, open Google Settings (the gear icon located in the screen with the list of apps installed on the phone), select the entry App connected the screen that opens and presses on the icon of WhatsApp and then on Log out button. Alternatively connected to this website and delete the app WhatsApp associated with your Google Account.
That’s all! Now open the Play Store, reinstall WhatsApp Messenger, follow the initial configuration of the application process and accept restoring the backup that you previously renamed. If everything goes the right way manage to bring WhatsApp the date, and to restore the messages that you had deleted by mistake.
