With the newly updated Facebook Messenger app for Android devices, users can now change the sound that plays when you have a new message. It was always frustrating for me to be in a crowd, hear the Messenger sound go off, look at my phone, and realize that it was someone else. This will solve that issue, and the process is simple.
Next, choose “Notification Sound” from the menu. This will bring up all of the sounds you can choose from for when you receive new messages.
Finally, choose the tune you like, tap OK and enjoy!
