Viber Gets New Feature That Lets You Delete Sent Messages Remotely

We have reported a news a couple of days back that social network Facebook is testing a self destructing messaging feature that will remove your message from a recipient’s phone after a set period.

Now, another leading social messaging app Viber has announced a similar feature for its users. The latest update introduced to the messaging app will let you delete messages on the recipients’ phone after you’ve sent them, regardless of the fact whether the recipient has seen it or not.

The feature seems quite a necessity in the times when we are prone to share sensitive information using our phones. So, now if you’ve sent your credit card details to any for any purpose, you can remotely delete the message from the recipient’s phone once they’re done with it.
