Viber app users are being warned of a bug that can potentially allow hackers control of Android phones.
The breach is believed to allow hackers to bypass screen locks and control smartphones, although Bkav claims that the flaw works differently depending on the Android device in use, reports BBC News

Viber said that it was aware of the flaw and that it had solved the issue. The firm wrote on Twitter: “Android lock screen issue resolved! Thanks for your patience.” It then posted a link to the fixed version.
The company recently released an update via its website, which is thought to secure the Viber app. , adding our response, and officially stating that we have fixed this issue in matter of days.
