Isle de Jean Charles is located on the very southern tip of Louisiana. It is an island connected to the mainland by a narrow two mile road spanning open water. Generations of families have lived here, with roots stretching back to Native Americans. And it is quickly disappearing.
This mini-documentary, directed by Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee, shows the few residents still remaining in Isle de Jean Charles. It will touch your heart.
