Sometimes your phone creates two or more than two copies of a single contact. This mostly happens when you factory reset a device and sync contacts or change SIM and accidentally sync all contacts. This can completely clutter the contacts, making it hard to navigate through contacts.
In this tutorial, we are going to show you different methods to delete duplicate contacts, you can use the one that you can access easily.
Many android phones come with Built-in contacts merging feature (not all of them, however). The phone will scan all contacts and let you delete all duplicate contacts with similar numbers and email address.

Method #2: Use Gmail to delete duplicate contacts
If it is enabled, then you can delete all duplicate contacts from your android phone without even touching it.

Method #3: Delete duplicate contacts using a dedicated app
All you have to do is download and launch the app and it will automatically scan and show all duplicate contacts. You can uncheck any duplicate contact you like before deleting to keep it safe.
