Via web.skype.com: This method is suitable for the devices either you are using a windows PC or a Mac. Skype has also provided its web app and users can directly log in to web.skype.com. In this way you can use two accounts one on web.skype.com and the other one on the installed app.
On windows computer: On windows you can launch multiple skype applications at a time. To do this follow the given steps.
1. Open run dialog box by pressing windows and R key on the keyboard.
2. Now type following command depending on the windows you are using 64-bit/ 32-bit.
64-bit
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe” /secondary
32-bit
“C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe” /secondary
3. When you will hit enter after pasting the command it will open a new skype login window. By repeating the process, you can keep opening fresh login windows.
4. If at the time of installation, you have changed the default installation folder for skype then you need to change path in the given command till “skype.exe”
New path\ Skype.exe” /secondary
5. If you don’t want to enter the command all the time you want to use two skypes you can create two shortcuts on the desktop but it will not be done by the normal procedure.
- Navigate to following path to your computer
64-bit OS C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone
34-bit OS C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\”
- You will find a skype shortcut in this folder right click and send it to the desktop create shortcut.
- Now go to the shortcut on the desktop and right click
- Navigate to properties>shortcut
- In the target field paste the above command according to 64/32- bit windows.

- After this click apply and Ok from the next time when you will open skype from this new shortcut it will open new log in window. Even when you are login to skype through the shortcut present in start menu programs you will be able to log in to new skype account through this shortcut.
